Resoflex – a result of the alliance with Georg Ackermann GmbH, Wiesenbronn – offers completely new possibilities in interior design with curves. Resoflex is a composite element for which, in a patented process (patent number: DE102008031898A012009), 0.8 mm RESOPAL ® is bonded (Hotmelt) on a 1.7-mm thick leather fiber material. This environmentally friendly, specially designed leather fiber material is made up of 85 % recycled leather, the rest are natural fats or natural latex. The innovative design of Resoflex enables the fabricator to create individual curves, with fewer production steps. Even the tightest radii can be achieved quickly and without the need of complex molds. Resoflex is easily applied to any substrate and can be grooved in the area where the curve is required. Groove width and depth are variable and also radial grooves are possible. This also applies to a high gloss finish.
